Ian Rumanyika has announced his resignation as Head of External and Corporate Affairs at Uganda Baati Ltd, effective June 30, 2025.
Rumanyika joined Uganda Baati three years ago after serving at the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) for nearly 11 years.
“It has been an honour to lead strategic communications, policy advocacy, and stakeholder engagement through a period of growth and transformation. I’m proud of the milestones and impact we have achieved as a team,” Rumanyika said in a statement.
He expressed his gratitude to the leadership of Uganda Baati and the Safal Group, as well as to key partners — including the media, Ministry of Finance, URA, UMA, PSFU, EABC, and the Uganda Iron and Steel Association — for their unwavering support.
“As I take on new professional pursuits, I remain committed to building purposeful partnerships and advancing public affairs across the region,” he added.
