Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda (CCBU) proudly served as the official hydration partner for Uganda Athletics’ landmark event, “100 Years of Excellence and Dedication to Sports.” Held on Saturday, 7th June 2025, at Mandela National Stadium, the centenary celebration marked a historic milestone—commemorating a century of organised athletics in Uganda. The event stood as a testament to national identity, unity, and sporting achievement.
This partnership reflected a strategic alignment between two institutions dedicated to creating shared value. As the governing body for track and field in Uganda, Uganda Athletics has played a pivotal role in shaping the nation’s athletic legacy, embodying discipline, resilience, and global competitiveness.

CCBU provided Rwenzori Mineral Water as the exclusive water brand for the occasion, ensuring that athletes, officials, and guests remained refreshed and hydrated throughout the day. The partnership cemented CCBU’s presence at one of the most significant sporting events in Uganda’s history.
The centenary celebration featured a vibrant mix of activities, including a 10km Fun Run, the prestigious John Akii Bua Memorial Invitational, a 2000m Steeplechase, and a 4x100m Corporate Relay. Patriotic flair was added through ceremonial elements such as band processions by the Uganda Police and Uganda Prisons Services.
