December in Uganda ushers in a season of warmth and reunion. Families prepare to travel back to their villages, churches echo with carols, and communities gear up for days filled with shared meals, laughter, and celebration. Across the country, the festive atmosphere is expressed in simple yet heartfelt traditions—neighbours exchanging food, long-time friends meeting again, and households welcoming loved ones from near and far. It’s a time that strengthens bonds and highlights the joy of being together.

About the Caravan

Building on this treasured spirit, Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda (CCBU) has launched its nationwide Christmas campaign, the “Coca-Cola Christmas Caravan,” which officially rolls out on 3 December 2025.

Throughout the festive season, the caravan will move across the country, bringing entertainment, music, refreshments, and vibrant community experiences to towns and neighbourhoods. Each stop will showcase the everyday joys that define the Ugandan Christmas experience.

What to Expect

This year, CCBU is taking Christmas celebrations beyond traditional venues and bringing them straight to the people. The aim is to create moments of real magic—opportunities for families, friends, and neighbours to pause, reconnect, and celebrate the joy of the season together.

At the launch, Emmy Hashakimana, Managing Director of CCBU under the Coca-Cola Beverages Africa group, explained the vision behind the initiative:

“Christmas is a special time for Ugandans. It is about being together, being thankful, and sharing moments that matter. With the Coca-Cola Christmas Caravan, we will be part of those real magic moments by bringing joy and refreshment closer to our consumers wherever they are.”

Each caravan stop will feature live entertainment, interactive activities, family games, and plenty of festive excitement. Communities will also enjoy instant giveaways—from matooke and live chicken to branded T-shirts and merchandise—all designed to spark joy and strengthen connections.

Kirunda Magoola, Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability Lead at CCBU, emphasized the company’s gratitude to consumers:

“Our consumers have walked with us throughout the year, and this season gives us a chance to celebrate with them. The Coca-Cola Christmas Caravan is our way of saying thank you and sharing in the joy of the festive season together.”
