High Court Judge Elubu Michael has remanded Dr. Kiiza Besigye’s lawyer, Eron Kiiza, to prison as he awaits the determination of his bail application.
Earlier this month, Kiiza filed an applifor bail three weeks ago after being convicted by the military court for contempt of court earlier this year, in January. In his application, Kiiza asserts that he has a fixed place of residence at Central Kiwatule Zone, Kiwatule Ward, Nakawa Division, Kampala City, which falls within the jurisdiction of the High Court.
