A fire has ravaged Bakaluba Mall in Mbalwa, along Ndiwulira Road in a Kampala suburb, Daily Star has learned.
Firefighters from the Police Fire Brigade are currently on the scene battling the blaze, which is believed to have started on the top floor of the building before spreading to other sections.
Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the fire, and no casualties have been reported at this time.
The incident happens a year after it’s launch and two weeks following the unveiling of the auditorium at the mall. The building belongs to the city property dealer, Yasin Bakaluba.
