Foton Motors, a globally recognized leader in automotive manufacturing, is set to unveil an exciting lineup of new vehicles for the Ugandan market. The official launch will take place on August 28, 2025, at the Foton Motors showroom in Namanve.
The event will showcase seven distinct brands: Aumark, Tunland, Miler, View CS2, Truck Mate, Aumna R, and Auman C. These brands are tailored to meet the specific needs of Ugandan consumers—offering a mix of affordability, advanced engineering, strong performance, and modern design suited for the country’s diverse road infrastructure.
The new fleet features over 50 units, including duty trucks, pickups, mini trucks, minibuses, and cargo vans. This strategic rollout demonstrates Foton’s commitment to delivering reliable transportation solutions and supporting the continued growth of Uganda’s automotive and logistics sectors.
The launch will be graced by high-profile dignitaries, including Katumba Wamala, Minister of Transport, and Mr. Robert Mukiza, Director-General of the Uganda Investment Authority.
