The Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has appointed Brigadier General Jackson Pande Kajuba as the new Commander of the UPDF Armoured Division in Masaka.
He replaces Major General Deus Sande (RIP), who passed away yesterday after suffering severe breathing complications.
Major General Sande was on his way to Kampala to attend the funeral service of his comrade, Major General Francis Takirwa, at All Saints Cathedral in Nakasero. Major General Takirwa died on Saturday, February [insert date].
Prior to his appointment, Brigadier General Pande Kajuba was serving as the Deputy Commander of the UPDF Armoured Division under Major General Deus Sande.
Colonel Wilson Bagonza Rwakanara of the Special Forces Command (SFC) has been promoted to the rank of Brigadier General and appointed Deputy Commander of the UPDF Armoured Division. The appointments take immediate effect.
