Juliana Kagwa has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Uganda Tourism Board (UTB), Daily Star can reliably report. Her appointment has been officially confirmed by UTB.
“Confirmed: Juliana Kagwa is the new CEO of UTB! Congratulations, and we warmly welcome you to the tourism fraternity,” UTB said in a statement.
She replaces Lilly Ajarova, who retired in March this year and was subsequently appointed Presidential Adviser on Tourism. Kagwa previously worked at Uganda Breweries Limited (UBL) for 17 years, serving in various capacities, including as Corporate Relations Director, before retiring last year.
