MTN MoMo Uganda has  launched its latest promotion, “Power to Win”, a customer reward initiative designed to celebrate and recognize MoMo users across the country. The campaign was unveiled at Akamwesi Mall in Kyebando as part of the broader Power to Be More movement.

Through the “Power to Win” promotion, customers stand a chance to win Shs 10 million every week simply by using MoMo to Pay, Borrow, or Invest. The more frequently customers transact with MoMo, the higher their chances of being selected as weekly winners. Each week, one lucky customer will be rewarded, with handover ceremonies held in various regions across Uganda to ensure national participation.

Speaking at the launch, Richard Yego, CEO of MTN MoMo Uganda, stated: “The Power to Be More campaign is about giving every Ugandan access to tools that help them do more, achieve more, and become more. With Power to Win, we’re extending that promise by rewarding our customers in a life-changing way.”

He emphasized that the promotion is not just about prizes but also about demonstrating how everyday use of MoMo can unlock opportunities, transform lives, and drive progress across the country.

Echoing his sentiments, Jemima Kariuki, Chief Products Officer at MTN MoMo Uganda, added: “We’re excited to introduce Power to Win as a fun and inspiring way to encourage customers to explore the full suite of MoMo services. Whether you’re paying bills, borrowing to seize an opportunity, or investing for the future, every transaction increases your chances of winning Shs 10 million. This campaign is all about putting the power directly in the hands of our customers and celebrating their everyday engagement with MoMo.”

The Power to Win promotion will run nationwide until the end of the year, with weekly winners announced and celebrated in their respective communities. By rewarding usage and engagement, MTN MoMo reaffirms its commitment to financial inclusion and to empowering Ugandans with the tools and opportunities to do more and become more.
