Parliament vets Jessica Alupo as Vice President of Uaganda
Parliament has approved the appointment of Jessica Alupo as the Vice President of Uganda. Earlier this week, President Yoweri Museveni appointed Alupo to the position, in accordance with Article 108(2) of the Constitution, which requires parliamentary approval by a simple majority. Alupo previously served as Vice President from June 2021
