A total of 817,885 candidates are set to sit for the Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), according to the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB). This year’s registration figure represents an increase from 797,444 candidates in 2024, reflecting a 2.5% rise. The candidates are registered from 16,140 examination centers across the country.
