Pamela Tumwebaze, the Dean of Students at Uganda Christian University (UCU), has been tragically killed by unknown assailants.
Her death was confirmed by the university in an official statement.
“It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Ms. Pamela Tumwebaze, the Director of Student Affairs and a member of the Uganda Christian University Senior Management,” the statement read.
According to the university, she was last seen addressing students at Nkoyoyo Hall, where she spoke about building healthy relationships.
“She went to be with the Lord in the early hours of Wednesday, February 11, 2026. Please uphold her children, immediate family, and loved ones in prayer,” the university added.
By press time, police had not yet released an official statement regarding the circumstances surrounding her death.
