Moses Magogo has been confirmed for a fourth term as the President of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA). Running unopposed, Magogo was officially endorsed during FUFA’s 101st Annual General Meeting held in Hoima City.

Since assuming office in 2013, Magogo’s administration has delivered a series of notable achievements, earning praise for making the leadership of FUFA appear seamless. Both internal and external stakeholders have played key roles in shaping the trajectory of Ugandan football in recent years.

“Our success has been defined by the know-how we’ve acquired through training and experience, the countless hours we’ve committed to the game, and the discipline we’ve maintained—both individually and institutionally—all driven by passion and the hunger to succeed,” Magogo said.

He emphasized that the administration has introduced innovations and engineered changes that many initially viewed as either impossible or low-priority. However, he noted, the outcomes have validated their efforts.

“Football is a rapidly evolving industry that demands attention to detail,” he continued. “It’s time to focus on collective progress rather than assigning blame or seeking personal credit. The game requires positive energy and collaboration from all of us.”

While celebrating the strides made, Magogo acknowledged that challenges remain—particularly the need to strengthen strategic planning and resource generation. He highlighted efforts to professionalize and commercialize the sport, noting that club football requires more revenue to sustain itself and compete on an international level.

“With improved infrastructure, now is the right time to drive meaningful change and attract more resources,” he said. “Over the past 12 years, I have dedicated myself fully to football, sacrificing both my private and professional life. I’m proud of my contribution, and I have an even greater desire to continue working—together with your support—to elevate the game further.”
