President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has appointed Moses Karangwa Kalisa as Senior Presidential Advisor in charge of Special Duties.

The appointment was confirmed by the Secretary in the Office of the President, Hajji Yunus Kakande, following a letter issued by Stephen Opio Okiror on behalf of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Public Service.

“I am pleased to inform you that the President, in the exercise of the powers vested in him and on the advice of the Public Service Commission, has directed that you be offered an appointment as Senior Presidential Advisor – Special Duties,” Okiror said.

Karangwa’s appointment takes immediate effect. He also serves as the Kayunga District Chairperson for the National Resistance Movement (NRM).
