Uganda Baati Limited (UBL) convened a high-impact women’s empowerment forum at its Head Office in Kampala, drawing together women leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, and partners for an afternoon centred on connection, inspiration, and shared growth.

Held under the theme “Give to Gain,” the engagement fostered a supportive space where participants exchanged experiences, built meaningful networks, and made personal commitments to uplift one another. Discussions explored leadership, resilience, mentorship, and the power of collective advancement.

A key highlight of the event was the unveiling of the interim governance structure for the Safal Circles, UBL Chapter  a strategic platform aimed at strengthening mentorship, collaboration, and leadership development among women within the UBL ecosystem. The initiative is expected to drive sustained engagement and long-term impact.

Through Safal Circles, UBL seeks to institutionalize support systems that enable women to access opportunities, sharpen their skills, and amplify their voices across professional and community spaces. The newly introduced governance structure will steer the chapter’s activities as it rolls out programmes anchored in empowerment, accountability, and shared success.

Speaking at the event, UBL CEO George Arodi reaffirmed the company’s commitment to gender inclusion and leadership development.

“At UBL, we believe that when women are empowered, communities thrive and institutions grow stronger. Creating spaces where women feel seen, heard, and supported is not just important—it is essential for sustainable progress,” he said.

Guest of honour Amelia Kyambadde urged women to embrace their potential, take initiative, and support one another.

“Do not wait until you feel ready. Start where you are, believe in your worth, and seize every opportunity that comes your way. And as you rise, lift another woman with you,” she said.
