Jackson Ssenyonga, Founder and Senior Pastor of Christian Life Church, has denied any involvement in the ongoing case concerning Pastor Robert Kayanja of Rubaga Miracle Centre Cathedral.

At a media briefing, Ssenyonga described reports linking him to the proceedings as “distortions of facts” that threaten both his reputation and ministry.

“What is happening in court involves Pastor Kayanja and nine other individuals. My name is not among them,” he clarified.

He also dismissed online claims suggesting he is sponsoring or influencing the case to damage Kayanja’s reputation. “I am not here to tarnish Pastor Kayanja’s name. My goal is to set the record straight against the deliberate lies being spread,” Ssenyonga said.

Addressing perceptions that the case is purely state-led, he emphasized that it originated from a complaint and would not exist otherwise. “If Pastor Kayanja had not been complained against, this case would not be ongoing,” he added.

Ssenyonga urged journalists and bloggers to stick to verified court facts rather than social media speculation. “Go to court and listen to the proceedings. Accurate reporting will help ensure justice is served,” he said.

With proceedings ongoing, Ssenyonga stressed that his priority is clearing his name while allowing the judicial process to unfold without interference.
