The High Court has dismissed an election petition filed by Rose Nalubowa, upholding Justine Nameere’s victory in Masaka City despite finding procedural irregularities during the vote recount.
The court found that although electoral materials had been compromised, Nalubowa failed to prove that the irregularities substantially affected the election results.
The court awarded costs against Nalubowa.
