The Uganda Police have launched a manhunt for controversial musician Patrick Mulwana, popularly known as Alien Skin, following the murder of Wilfred Namuwaya, a TikToker and former dancer in the Fangone Forest group, known by his stage name Top Dancer.
The incident has sparked public outrage after disturbing footage emerged online showing a badly injured man, believed to be Namuwaya, receiving help from local residents. In the video, he accuses former associates from the Fangone Forest gang, allegedly led by Alien Skin, of attacking him.
According to police, Namuwaya was abducted from his home in Ndeeba on September 20, 2025, by a man identified as Musomali, who is reportedly linked to the Fangone Forest group. He was then taken to Alien Skin’s residence in Kizungu Zone, Makindye Division, where he was beaten severely.
“We are investigating the murder of Namuwaya Wilfred, alias Top Dancer. The prime suspect is Mulwana Patrick, also known as Alien Skin, along with his associates Commander Mdogo, Ibra Kabadiya, and Mijagulo. Efforts are underway to have them arrested and prosecuted,” said Patrick Onyango, spokesperson for the Kampala Metropolitan Police.
Investigators believe the assault was ordered by Alien Skin, who allegedly accused Namuwaya of leaving the group without permission. After the beating, the victim was reportedly dumped in Kifamba Zone, where a Good Samaritan found him and rushed him to Mulago Hospital. He died on September 22 due to the injuries he sustained.
This tragic incident is the latest in a growing list of violent attacks allegedly tied to the Fangone Forest group. In recent weeks, several former members have reportedly been assaulted, though many are too afraid to come forward for fear of retaliation.
The group had already drawn public attention in November 2024, when Alien Skin and several of his associates were arrested for assaulting doctors and security personnel at Nsambya Hospital, accusing them of negligence following the death of a fellow gang member.
Police are now appealing to the public for any information that could aid in the arrest of the suspects, promising to bring those responsible to justice.
