C-Care Uganda has launched celebrations to mark 30 years of providing healthcare services with a community health activation held at Capital Shoppers in Ntinda, Kampala.
The event, held on April 25, 2026, brought together members of the public and healthcare professionals in a blend of service delivery and reflection on the organisation’s three-decade journey.
Established in 1996 under the leadership of Dr Ian Clarke, the institution set out with a vision to raise the standard of healthcare in Uganda.
Over the years, C-Care Uganda has grown into one of the country’s leading healthcare providers, strengthening service delivery through facilities such as International Hospital Kampala and a network of International Medical Centres.
At the heart of the anniversary launch was a large-scale community outreach initiative that offered free health services, including blood pressure checks, malaria screening, hepatitis testing, diabetes screening and syphilis testing.
The outreach also provided health education, with medical teams offering guidance on disease prevention, nutrition and healthy living, as part of efforts to promote early diagnosis and improve health outcomes.
Officials said the activation reflects C-Care Uganda’s continued commitment to accessible and affordable healthcare, particularly at the community level.
The anniversary celebrations are expected to run throughout the year, with similar outreach activities planned across different parts of the country.
