University and tertiary students will have an opportunity to access spiritual guidance, leadership development, professional counselling and career networking at the fifth Global Inter-University Conference organised by Phaneroo Ministries.
The conference, scheduled for November 14, 2026, at 2pm at Phaneroo Grounds in Naguru, will bring together students from universities, technical colleges, vocational schools and specialised training institutions from Uganda and beyond.
Now in its fifth year, the Global Inter-University Conference (GIC) seeks to equip young people with biblical principles and practical skills to help them navigate education, work and personal development.
Beyond the spiritual sessions, participants will have access to counselling, networking and career opportunities through Phaneroo’s partnerships with corporate organisations.
The conference will also feature a student talent showcase covering music, dance and drama, with prizes for outstanding performers.
Apostle Grace Lubega, the vision bearer of Phaneroo Ministries, said the conference is intended to help young people recognise their potential and prepare for leadership.
“We believe that this generation carries tremendous potential to transform nations,” Lubega said at last year’s conference.
“The Global Inter-University Conference exists to raise young people who are spiritually grounded, intellectually equipped, and prepared to lead with excellence in every sphere of society.”
The organisers say previous editions have attracted young people seeking spiritual growth and personal development, with participants reporting experiences they described as healing, academic and financial breakthroughs, restored hope and encounters with God.
This year’s conference will feature Lubega alongside globally recognised leadership coach and author Dr Cindy Trimm and Apostle Felix Okoh of House of Treasures Ministries in Johannesburg.
Zambian gospel artiste Pompi will lead worship and ministry alongside several Ugandan gospel ministers.
Organisers say the combination of spiritual teaching, professional development and networking is intended to give students an opportunity to address both personal and career-related challenges as they prepare for life beyond school.
Phaneroo Ministries International said security arrangements have been put in place and the necessary permissions obtained from relevant authorities.
The ministry said it is working with security agencies and partners to provide a secure environment for attendees.
