The body of the fallen King of Tooro, Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, has arrived at Entebbe International Airport following his death in the United States.
King Oyo’s body was flown to Entebbe from Nairobi aboard a chartered flight, 5Y-FAM, which arrived this afternoon.
The body was received by President Yoweri Museveni, who was also King Oyo’s guardian before it was loaded onto a helicopter and flown to Kyegegwa.
From Kyegegwa, the body will be transferred to a vehicle for the journey by road to the Tooro Kingdom, where the late king is expected to be accorded a royal farewell.
